STAMP FRANKING

Till recently the stamps were being marketed by the retail agents. After, the recent Stamps scam in Maharashtra and other states the more credible options were thought over by the Govt.in order to safeguard the interests of general public and to prevent fraudulent issue of stamps. The bank of Rajasthan, in pursuit of adding a new product to its shelf, took an initiative and became first ever Bank to start Stamp Franking activity at its various online Branches. By providing Franking machines at our different branches, the branches can now frank Impression Of Stamps on all kind of instruments on which stamp duty is payable under the provisions of Indian stamp Act 1899 and the Bombay Stamp Act 1958. Our Branches are successfully doing Stamp Franking activities and have become a credible source of stamp franking for general public at large. The benefits of Stamp Franking by our Branches at different centres to the general public are many. Some of such benefits are listed hereunder:

a.) The inconvenience of carrying heavy cash and waiting together for long time in queue by the public will be avoided.
b.) The public will find it more convenient to approach our ideally located branches spread across all the prominent localities in Mumbai city as well as important centres in Maharashtra and now in Gujarat State as well.

STAMP VENDING

Keeping in view the large success to Stamp Franking activity in Maharashtra, The Bank decided to start Stamp Vending activity in Rajasthan and State Govt.issued licenses & allowed the Bank to sell Stamps through its different Branches situated at District /Tahsil head quarters of Rajasthan state. The earlier arrangement of stamp selling / vending was very cumbersome as it was being done by retail agents at very selective places in a city. This activity, after taken up by our Bank in Rajasthan, has facilitated the public in a big way as it is very convenient for them to approach our ideally located branches spread across all the prominent localities at various District /Tahsil. Our Branches accept cash in all denominations and simultaneously many customers have their accounts with our Branches will find it still convenient to get the stamps purchased from our Branches. Than there will also be no fear of purchasing fake Stamps.
