Any Where Banking - opening of a new era for customers

With Globalisation of economy, changes in approach to business are clearly visible. The competition is getting fierce in each walk of life. Better services with lower cost implication are available. Banking services are expected from banking besides expeditious delivery of services.

Bank of Rajasthan, Keeping these objectives in view, has planned to introduce any branch banking facility to its customers.

ANYWHERE Banking

A facility provided to the customers at selected branches in various cities. Under these services the customers can transact business such as deposit of cheques. withdrawal of cash etc, at any of the selected branches across the country.
  • You can withdraw money at another city, from your branch, even if you do not have an account in that city.
  • You can deposits cash/cheque at a branch other than the branch where you are having account.
  • You can transfer the money from one account to another account in a different city or same city in different branch.
  • Local cheques can be deposited in the account and on the basis of clearing the account will be credited without delay in your account.
  • You can make the payment to your creditors across the cities in the places where this facility is available.
  • You can view your account position while being away from a city, where you are holding an account originally.
  • Your passbook can be updated in any of the branch, where any where Banking solution is implemented.

The real benefit of any branch banking is that your requirement can be done in two ways. You can operate any account from anywhere and as such you need not transfer any money from any account to other account. Still for ease of operations, standing instructions may be issued to transfer amount from various accounts to a specific account.

LIMITATIONS

The account closing activites are limited to the branch. Where accounts are opened. These activities are reserved for the originating branch.
  • The cheque book be issued only from the branch, where you have your account and not from any branch.
  • No introduction of accounts can be done by the local residents in general. However the same may be relaxed in cases where the accounts are to be opened by relatives or the same company.
  • You can transact business at any ATMs linked to central server.

CHARGES

DD, MT vs. Anywhere Banking

While taking the DD you will have to get it made and post the same at other destination it will take three days minimum for crediting in your account. In addition there are chances for DD being lost in transit, while in case of ABB, it is instantaneous.
