Tips for ATM cum Debit Card of Bank of Rajasthan |
| A.
General |
| 1 |
Sign your card immediately
after you receive it. |
| 2 |
On receipt of your card,
note down the card number and the help line phone number.
It will enable you in prompt reporting in case of
loss of the card. |
| 3 |
Please keep
your card in a safe place. Treat it as carefully as you would
treat your cash. |
| 4 |
Don’t lend your card
to anybody under any circumstances. Misuse of the card is
solely owners responsibility> |
| 5 |
Please do
not write the ATM PIN on the card or on a paper, which you
carry along with the card. |
| 6 |
Please memorize the PIN
instead of noting it down somewhere. |
| 7 |
Change the PIN immediately.
Please note that this facility is available on Bank’s ATMs
only. |
| 8 |
Please change
your ATM PIN on regular intervals |
| 9 |
Don’t reveal your card
number and/or PIN over phone, email or Internet.. |
| 10 |
Immediately report in case your card is
lost or stolen. |
| 11 |
If you are returning
or handing over your card to the bank, cut it Diagonally and
ensure you hand it over to a bank official only. This will
ensure that the card can never be used again. |

When you dispose of your
old card at the time of renewal, please make sure to cut it
diagonally before disposal. |

Inform
the Bank immediately about any change in your mailing address
to ensure correct delivery of your card/ PIN in case of subsequent
reissue of card. |
| B. Use on ATMS |
| 1 |
Be wary
of "help" in carrying out an ATM transaction. |
| 2 |
Be wary of anything strange
or suspicious about an ATM machine or in its vicinity including
signs of tampering or attachment of additional fixtures like
skimming device, transparent overlays on ATM key pads, tiny
Cameras overlooking the key pads etc, and suspicious looking
people or somebody trying to look over the shoulder to get
the PIN number, etc.. |

Please remember
to take your card back after completing your ATM transaction. |

If your card
is retained/captured by the ATM, please inform the concerned
Call Center/Branch personnel immediately. As far as possible make a note in register
kept at ATM location. |

For any inconvenience/ problem in operating your
card at ATMs or merchant locations, please contact your Branch |
| C. USE AT POINT OF SALE (POS)/ MERCHANT
LOCATIONS |
| 1 |
Before using the card at any POS/Merchant outlets,
the card must be used at least once on any ATM to activate
the card. |
| 2 |
Never leave your card
unattended at a merchant establishment, Please ensure the card is swiped in
your presence |
| 3 |
Make sure that the card
returned to you at a merchant establishment is your own. |
| 4 |
When using your card
at a merchant establishment, only your signature is needed.
Do not disclose any other personal detail like your address
or phone number. |
| 5 |
Always keep a copy of
the bill and the payment slip for a transaction and the ATM
receipts for cash withdrawals. |

Always check your account
statement. Compare entries in the account with the bills and
receipts in your possession. |
